As you may know about me from my Instagram account, I'm a healthy foodie, so whenever I eat outdoors I try to do it right- and by right I mean- tasty and healthy.
In the last months, during my visits to Tel Aviv, I found some cute cafes and restaurants which became my favorite places to go for breakfast or lunch.
In these places there is a variety of (very) good-looking healthy food.
I decided to share with you the most instagrammable restaurants and cafes in
Tel Aviv I had the chance to visit.
Hamanya CafE
This is probably my favorite cafe.
The atmosphere there is so chilling and fun, the place is designed very well and has a lot of sunflowers, my favorite kind of flower ❀
I tried some of the smoothie bowls, which were as good as they look.
There are 5 types of smoothie bowl, each one of them is different and has a different color: purple, pink, blue, green and yellow, of course, because of the different ingredients in each of the smoothies.
This place also offers you some healthy juices, such as colorful shakes with a variety of fruits, matcha and activated carbon.
Obviously there are also usual drinks like tea and coffee- hot or iced.
What did I order?
At the first time I visited Hamanya Cafe, it was a difficult mission to choose one of the smoothie bowls, as all of them seem very good. But eventually I chose one- Aphrodisiac bowl, which includes açaí, blueberries, lychee, cashew and hazel nuts, almond milk and more goodies. It was really good!
In my next visit there, my mom and my aunt were with me.
I ordered a different smoothie bowl this time- the one which called in the menu- Cocoa Energizer bowl, which was very good and not too sweet. This bowl includes mango, banana, lychee, cocoa pulp, hazel nuts, date and more...
The toppings are coconut chips, blueberries, walnuts chips and date honey.
You can especially taste the cocoa and the banana in this smoothie and this combination is amazing.
I also drank an iced coffee, which was very nice.
My mother enjoyed a coffee and a chocolate chip cookie, and my aunt ate a
Shakshouka, which, according to her, was amazing. It came with brown bread, green tahini and olives.
To sum up, this cafe is definitely worth visiting.

CITIZEN
This is one of my favorite cafes in Tel Aviv, where I have eaten a few times.
This place reminds me of Soho in New York!
There are many green plants there, the windowsill is full of pillows and invites to sitting and just enjoying a nice meal. But the best part of this cafe is probably the garden.
If you continue from the tiny inner space, you will reach a pastoral garden in the heart of Tel Aviv. The garden is very pretty, pastoral, mostly shaded, equipped with fans, full of plants. There are round and square tables and seating areas with cushions, where you can relax comfortably. What else do you need? Just the food, obviously.
Citizen's menu is very fresh and based on health.
There are a selection of toasts, bowls of salads, and also sweeter food, like muesli with fruits and granola or chia pudding cups in different styles.
You can enjoy healthy drinks for various purposes depending on the ingredients of the drink, such as, a detox drink for detoxification with activated carbon.
There are also Latte drinks in different colors, like a beet latte and a matcha latte.
So what did I eat on my visits? Muesli- Raspberry yogurt with granola, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, goji berry and a banana. The meal was tasty, very big and filling.
Matcha latte- I had to try this green drink and it was very good.
Salmani's bowl- In the salad bowl section there are three options, and you have to choose between sweet potato, baked potato and roasted eggplant.
In addition, you need to choose a base for the salad - lentils and wheat, herb quinoa or zoodles - zucchini noodles.
I chose sweet potato and zoodles, which were amazing.
The bowl has also included broccoli, cherry tomato, radish, kale, carrot, cabbage, hazel nuts and tahini. It was very delicious.
I must mention that the beet latte looks very good and not only because it's pink.
I will definitely try it on my next visit.

Urban Shaman
I love this place, which is designed amazing, with a lot of green plants, and as a plant lover, I enjoyed sitting there and eating an amazing açaí bowl.
There are also healthy juices, which are not cheap at all but worth-buying.
The açaí bowl I had was very tasty.
The toppings are coconut, chia seeds, goji berry and granola which is made in the place and is very delicious.
Next time I hope to try their healthy pancakes.
